Photo Booth Hire Terms and Conditions:

The Provider: Fine City Photo Booths


The Customer: The named person booking Fine City Photo Booths for the event


The following contract and its terms comprise an agreement between the Provider and the Customer for the hire of the Photo Booth. This written contract sets out the full, intentions of the parties and supersedes any previous written or oral agreements made between the parties.



Fine City Photobooths will provide the selected hire option for your event, we require a deposit of £50 to secure any booking. The remaining balance can be paid by any of the following methods at any point up to a week before the event: Debit / Credit card, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Cash. Any cheques must be received 3 weeks before the event. Customers may only pay via cash on the day with prior consent; the photo booth or any additional items will not be set up until full payment has been received. Failure to provide cash payment will result in immediate termination of the hire; the customer will be liable for the hire amount in full. 


Cancellations / Amendments:

Customers must provide us with a written notification of their intention to cancel no later than one month before the event date. If written notice is not received by this date, then the full payment will become due. Deposits are non-refundable. Any amendments to dates requested in writing no later than one month before the event date. Any request to amend the hire times must be received in writing 1 week before the event date.


Loss or damage to provider’s equipment:

The Customer assumes complete responsibility for any loss of or damage to the Provider’s equipment (other than fair wear and tear) caused by any misuse of the equipment by the Customer, their employees or their guests. The Customer shall be responsible for any loss of or damage to the Provider’s equipment caused by Theft, Fire, Flood or Accidental Damage. Customers accept full responsibility for the behaviour of their guests or employees.


Equipment Failure:

In the (very!) unlikely event of equipment failure we will do our utmost to rectify any problems swiftly. In the event of a printer breakdown we will still encourage everyone to use the booth and write in the guestbook. All pictures will be printed the next day, added to the Album and sent to you free via next day delivery. You will be offered a selection of framed reprints as compensation. If the Photo booth / hire item is closed due to technical difficulties, any time lost will be added to the end of the booking. The provider guarantees any hire item will be operational for at least 80% of the agreed hire time. Any refund can only be made on a pro-rata basis, based upon time lost operational time. All photos are recorded with a digital time stamp; this measure will be used to calculate any refund due.



By booking the Photo booth or any other hire item, you agree that images taken at your event to be used for Marketing purposes including Social Media. (If you wish to opt out then please do so in writing before the event date).


Threatening or abusive behaviour:

We will not accept any problem behaviour. This includes verbal abuse, physical abuse, and discriminatory or disrespectful conduct. Intoxication will not be accepted as a valid excuse for poor conduct. If we feel at any point that the behaviour of any customer, their employees or guests is unacceptable or if any equipment is being treated disrespectfully, the photo booth or any other hire equipment will be removed immediately; no refund will be given. We are very tolerant people and love a lively and vibrant party; we have never had to cancel a hire due to poor behaviour!



The Provider will not be liable for delays caused by factors outside our control: these include timing delays (over running speeches etc.), power cuts, failure to provide access including vehicle access as agreed. It is the customer’s responsibility to guarantee the venue is suitable for the hire item. No hire item will be set up blocking any fire exits in accordance with health and safety protocol, alternative options will be discussed on the event date.  The customer is required to ensure adequate accessible power provision (1 x 13amp socket). Any outdoor hires must be discussed and agreed in advance, the customer is responsible for providing a covered alternative in the event of bad weather. The provider will not be liable for cancellation in the event of bad weather. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate venue information including the correct address and postcode. The provider will not be liable for any delay resulting from incorrect information.


Limitation of Liability

 We disclaim any and all liability to you for the supply of the Photo booth to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If we are found liable for any unforeseen cancellation, loss or damage to you, such liability is limited to the hire charge you have paid. We cannot accept any liability for any loss, damage or expense, including any direct or indirect loss such as loss of profits, to you howsoever arising.

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing the service and hiring the Photo booth where such failure arises as a result of a Force Majeure event. In such circumstances our liability shall be limited to a pro rata refund of the deposit where applicable.

 We do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the hire of the Photo booth. We do not make any representation or guarantee that use of the Photo booth in any promotional context will generate revenue or customers for you or your business.

We shall not be liable for any misrepresentations other than fraudulent misrepresentations.

Nothing in this Hire Agreement shall limit our liability for personal injury or death arising as a direct result of our negligence.
